This 2-day workshop is designed to provide supervisors, managers, team leaders, safety committee members, and HR professionals who have the responsibility for making improvements in the areas of health, safety and the work environment with the knowledge they need to:

  • Understand relevant OSHA Construction compliance standards
  • Be aware of basic safety management and compliance issues
  • Promote safety through internal education
  • Recognize and control hazards on the job
  • Involve employees in safety initiatives
  • Understand your responsibilities to ensure safety in your organization

All participants receive the following National Safety Council materials:

  • OSHA CFR 1926 Construction Standards
  • Supervisor Safety Manual
  • Complete OSHA approved Supervisor Training workbook
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Compliance Card (1.2 NSC CEU's)
  • Supervisor Safety Training completion certificate
  • Lunch both days

Construction topics covered include:Excavations, scaffolding, fall protection, confined spaces, safety & human performance management, hazard communication, promoting safety and health on the job, incident investigation, materials handling, personal protective equipment, electrical, tool and fire safety.

Instructor: Tim Roberts is President of Safety Alliance LLC., and a leading national and international authority in the field of construction and safety management. Tim brings over 30 years in safety and serves as an instructor for the OSHA "Train the Traine" courses.

  • Be aware of basic safety management and compliance issue

  • Understand your responsibilities to ensure safety in your organization
