The National Safety Council, Central Ohio Chapter would like to thank you for your interest in our Defensive Driving online program (DDC-PC). In partnership with the Delaware Municipal Court and Union County ourgoal is to improve traffic safety and reduce violations. The NSC’s Internet-based driver-training program is based on the 8-hour classroom Defensive Driving Course. Using state-of-the-art animation and graphics, the online version offers an engaging, interactive learning environment where students analyze real driving situations, spot driving hazards, and identify the correct defenses. The cost is $24.95, payable by credit card, check or money order.

To enroll, click on this link and you will be connected to the site.

Upon completion of the course, you need to request the Certificate of Completion through one of the following options:

  1. After you complete and exit the course, there is a link at the top of the 'My Courses' page for certificate request.
  2. Or, on 'My Courses' page, you can click on 'Details' under 'Syllabus' and click on 'Request the Certificate' link at the bottom of the 'Details' page.

The Certificate of Completion will be mailed to you within two working days of your request. IMPORTANT: To complete the Traffic Safety Program you will need to take or mail the original certificate to the specific court to which you received your traffic violation. They must receive your Certificate of Completion within sixty (60) days from the court date listed on your ticket.

We strongly suggest that you DO NOT wait until the last minute to complete this course as it will take approximately 7 to 10 business days to receive your certificate from the National office once you have completed the course. They will send the certificate directly to YOU and it will be your responsibility to forward it to the courts before your deadlines.

We hope that you find the DDC-PC program a positive learning experience. If you should have any questions about the course, please feel free to contact us. If you have a technical question or the system is not working properly, please call 1-800-775-1484
